What inspired your latest piece?
My painting, titled White Horse, symbolizes my journey of self-empowerment and resilience. It's about standing up for myself, fighting my battles, and embracing new life adventures because I realized that no one else is going to live the life I envision for myself. I used Napoleon's Crossing the Alps as a reference, drawing inspiration from its sense of determination and triumph. When I look at this piece, it serves as a powerful reminder of the achievements I’ve made, both big and small, and it motivates me to keep pushing forward."
What’s your favorite work so far?
One of my favorite works is a series of four gouache mixed media paintings titled 'Extended Family.' This series explores the diverse relationships within our lives, highlighting both the differences and commonalities that bind us together as friends and family. As a friend and family-oriented person, I find great satisfaction in sharing a part of myself with the collectors of these pieces."
