The collection consisted of tailored, fitted garments such as ribbed t-shirts, cacoon-shaped sleeves on a traditional white shirt, and a light shade of lapis-blue denim jacket featuring a defined collar with matching denim jeans. Saunders was inspired not only by Robert Longo’s photography, “Men in Cities”, but also by male Jamaican dancers, where by she was captivated by their movement and wanted to combine contemporary performance with the garment, model and fabric.

Her vision and aim was to capture constraint and movement in the clothes which was achieved by sculptural artist, Shanti Bell, who was also a part of the intricate material installation between the models, who previously worked on Somerset House’s exhibition, “The Missing Thread” with Bianca Saunders back in 2023.

Bianca Saunders' intentions was to explore the contrast between freedom of fluidity and restriction of menswear, which was executed well and added another element of avant-garde theatrical performance that should coexist with couture.
